The 2017 vintage was one for the books in the Finger Lakes. A warm and dry spring and fall, with a healthy dose of summer rains in between to boost vine vigor. The fruit was harvested October 12th, 2017 from Caywood Vineyards overlooking Seneca Lake. Aged in French Oak for 10 months.
This wine has a pale straw color and notes of vanilla and citrus on the nose. The palate yields notes of grilled pineapple, green apple, and lime curd.
Pairs well with Grilled fish, shellfish, toasted nuts.
